3 Mindset Shifts To Make in Order to Execute what God is Calling you To Do with Your Story.

Many women that I work with want to do one main thing, and that is to execute and launch the book that God has put in their hearts. (yup I get it!)

I have gotten notes that stated:

  • I want to share the story of how God brought me through and I want to able to inspire, educate, and teach other women my journey and process.
  • I don’t want to miss out on impacting someone else’s life.
  • I had this idea of sharing my story and testimony years ago, and I don’t want to miss the mark.

These are just a few things that the women I work with speak about and I can definitely relate to each one of these. In this blog post, I will be sharing with you 3 mindset shifts I had to make in order to execute and launch my story into a book.

The first mindset shift was a shift from questioning with doubt to gratitude.

Example: God why are you choosing me to write my story? to Thank you for choosing me & trusting me to execute!

I have learned that there is a difference between questioning with doubt vs. showing gratitude. Gratitude allows you to invite more joy in, experience positive emotions, and improves your energy. Having gratitude makes writing and launching your story that much more rewarding and enjoyable because you are embracing your book project! Remember, the nuggets and lessons that you have learned in your journey, will be a blessing to another person, so it is an honor to be able to share your story of courage, breakthrough, self-love, self-acceptance, faith, and many more.

The second mindset shift was a shift from timidness to boldness.

Example: I know I have already done the inner work but am I ready to share? to I have done the inner work and I am walking in my wholeness to impact other women with my testimony.

There is something about walking in boldness that just makes things so much easier, and it took me some time to get to this point. I have learned that being bold increases your confidence, is exciting, and provides you the motivation to effectively execute your goals and plans. Hint hint - your book!

The third mindset shift was a shift from idleness to diligence.

Example: I will get started one day to Today is the day I start.

You need to be diligent in order to execute what has been put into your spirit. Procrastination and idleness are not going to get you there, they are just delaying what you need to do. I am not saying to just go out there and do things, but take the time to discern what you need to get done now, by taking the first step that you know God is telling you to do. Trust that as you take faith filled steps, everything that you need will follow and fall into place.

You got this. I already know that you are ready to execute, that you are bold and courageous, and that your time is now!

Yours Truly,

Brit Lashae
